Casing tube is different from temporary casing, according to its structure can be divided into single-wall casing and double-wall casing; according to length can be divided into single section 1m,2m, 3m, 4m,6m casing section.
Casing is used as a permanent or temporary support structure for a bored piling system. It’s used when deeper, unstable soil conditions are present. Casing is utilised during the drilling stage of construction and can be installed and extracted by using a drilling rig or an oscillator attached to an excavator rig. The casing is jiggled in by big vibrations as it penetrates the ground. The soil contained within is removed by means of boring tools such as an auger or drilling buckets.
Casings are produced in double-walled construction as standard. They provide maximum torque during insertion to ensure casings aren’t warped during installation.
